Melrose Place 1992 Season 7, Episode 20 The Kyle High Club

With a little of Megan’s help, Lexi decides to take a business approach to finding a relationship using hiring techniques. Meanwhile, both Jane and Michael are saddled with legal fees over their courtroom time, but whereas Jane wants to cut costs, the greedy Michael wants to continue to splurge money. Then Michael saves the live of a wealthy patient, named Perry Hutchins, who gives him a Ferrari as a grateful gift. Also, Kyle continues to keep his suspected sterility from Amanda who soon becomes disturbed by Kyle’s moody behavior, which includes an impromptu trip to scout bands in New York for the Jazz Club where he goes overboard with the seedy club owner, named Ricky, and his groupies.

Lexi moves in with Cooper at his apartment at Melrose and continues to blame Peter for her father’s death, despite evidence that Mr. Sterling was not taking medication for his high-blood pressure. Meanwhile, Peter visits Michael’s new clinic in South-Central L.A. and is chased away by Spider and his gang. An increasingly jealous Billy finds himself drawn to Jennifer while she lends a hand with a ballroom dancing ad campaign, and a confused Samantha finally reveals her feelings for Jeff. While Amanda goes on a business trip to New York, Kyle tries to help with Christine’s recovery. But Kyle’s old Marine friend, Nick, secretly arrives back in Los Angeles and schemes with Taylor to keep Christine in town as part of a plan to break up Kyle and Amanda. Megan keeps Michael company who thinks there’s still a chance to reconcile with her. At the end, during the reading of Thomas Sterling’s will, Cooper is entitled to a secret windfall of $10 million if he remarries Lexi within a year.

Jake returns to Los Angeles where he seeks another chance to get Alison back. Meanwhile, Nick threatens both Taylor and Peter after snapping a few compromising photos of them together. Michael is forced by Kimberly to choose either her or Megan. Carter continues to enjoy his view of the real world. But when Carter learns that he’s a part of a competition for Sydney, he realizes that the world is not for him and decides to go back to his reclusive business world. At the end, Megan gets an unpleasant surprise when she is visited by Josh Laughlin, her former pimp.

In this two-hour episode, Alycia tells Bobby that he owes $2 million to operate his TV cable company. Amanda offers to help Bobby while Peter hires Sydney as his date at a hospital fund raiser to break up Bobby and Amanda, but it doesn’t work, and Sydney just ends up with a wine-splattered dress. Meanwhile, Jake offers Jane his garage to start her new business, much to Jo’s dismay. Determined to sink Jane, Richard makes his employees, including Jo, work overtime to put out a new line. The serial killer/rapist Vic, released from jail by a computer error, kidnaps Kimberly in her car until Michael arrives to rescue her in a high-speed car chase, which ends with Vic’s fiery death and a renewed romance between Michael and Kimberly. Matt, still uncomfortable about Alan not wanting to reveal his homosexuality to the public, threatens to break up with him if he doesn’t come out of the closet. Brooke’s life falls further apart after she is evicted from her hotel room when Billy cancels her credit cards. Then Amanda fires Brooke from D&D for her tardiness and hostility, in which Alison finds Brooke, broke and alone, living in her car and lets her stay at her apartment, much to Billy’s chagrin.

At Martin Abbott’s desert retreat, Sydney tries to convince him and Rikki of her loyalties to them while she waits for another opportunity to try to escape, while Jane and Jake set out to rescue Sydney after Jane makes a background check on Martin and learns that Sydney’s in a notorious cult. Back in Los Angeles, Amanda, afraid that she might lose her iron grip of power on D&D, doesn’t stop working during chemotherapy, while Kimberly begins to doubt that Michael’s interests in Amanda are strictly professional, while Billy also confides in Alison with Amanda’s health. Meanwhile, Detective Rawlings continues hanging out with Matt and to please him about what he does for a living, he takes Jo on a photo tour through downtown L.A. where she photographs him beating up a suspected drug dealer.

Meanwhile, Jo again gets curious about Reed and discovers the drug contents under the trap door in his boat. When Reed sees this, he ties her up and sets sail. Billy and Alison practice their long distance relationship over the phone, but when she arrives in New York to surprise Billy, she gets an even bigger surprise when she sees him flirting with another woman.

Meanwhile, Jane and Sydney’s personal conflict escalates to Sydney almost ruining a surprise birthday party for Jane, causing Jane to ask Sydney to leave. Also, Billy ends up getting dumped after agreeing to escort Alison to an important business party when she leaves with another guy.
